Broadstones School approaches the promotion of British Values in line with the Government’s PREVENT Theme. We believe that it is fundamental to help the children have a clear rounded understanding of the key areas that make up British values and will undoubtedly help them understand the feelings and beliefs of others. Each term we have a focus week where all classes across the whole school will learn about one of the key areas through a blended learning approach, in our focus classes we cover areas such as Black History Month, Winter Festivals, Equality Week, Politics and British Values in Sport.
