Music

At the Vale, we offer a range of practical courses covering numerous subjects within the Music industry. The courses have been designed to integrate,  allowing young people to choose and take part in a variety of modules. Pupils will be able to tailor the course to their aspirations. Musical focuses come under these three main topics: Sound Production/Engineering, Performance and Business.

Music at the Vale is a great space to learn and develop skills. Our music tutors have a range of experience from studio work to performing around the world, they still actively work in the music industry. Collectively they provide an outstanding provision for pupils in a SEN setting.

The future of music at the Vale looks great; we are constantly upgrading the equipment and developing the space to create a nurturing environment. Our intention is to allow pupils to learn to express themselves musically. We will always encourage pupils to play towards a professional or semi-professional level. Even if pupils don’t wish to pursue music to a professional level, playing music can relieve stress and greatly improve confidence and mental health.
